What is Block Tuition?

Block tuition enables online MSW students to pay a single flat tuition amount for the semester, and save up to 40% on tuition when enrolled in nine or more credits for that semester. Taking advantage of block tuition also means that students will graduate in a much faster timeframe.

What Financial Aid is Available?

We recommend submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as soon as possible. Some financial support is based on your filing date, so applying early may increase the amount of aid you receive. The University of Kentucky’s Title IV code is 001989.

The UK College of Social Work also offers numerous scholarships based on academic performance, financial need, and other factors. These scholarships include but are not limited to the Wiley Partnership Scholarship, Evelyn J. Black Memorial Fund, Social Work Advancement Fund, and Jewels in the Mountain Scholarship Endowment.

Graduate students can also apply for a federal loan and receive up to $20,500.

Please note, Federal Title IV financial aid is only available for certificate courses when they are taken as a part of a degree-seeking program.
