Options include:

• Federal Aid – the most popular form of financial aid is the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You should fill out a FAFSA form as soon as possible so you know how much federal aid you might qualify for.
• Subsidized and Unsubsidized Loans – Subsidized loans are need-based loans, while unsubsidized loans are available to all students. These loans must be repaid based on their conditions.
• Scholarships – There are different types of scholarships such as merit- or need-based, specialty scholarships for specific demographics, and field-specific scholarships for students who want to pursue a certain professional career.
