Military Students
The University of Kentucky is continually recognized as one of the top public universities in the state for military veterans. In addition to waiving the application fee for veterans, UK provides a robust support system to help veterans determine which programs and benefits are available to them to make their education as affordable as possible.
Along with GI Bill programs, veterans can mitigate costs through the Yellow Ribbon Program, which allows degree-granting institutions to fund a percentage of tuition expenses that are matched by the VA. We’re proud to contribute the maximum percentage rate of 50% for a limited number of students per term.
To get a full understanding of the benefits available to veterans, visit our military support page for more information.
