Develop the knowledge and skills you need to launch your social work career. The online Bachelor of Arts in Social Work program at the University of Kentucky prepares you to pass clinical licensing exams with experienced faculty that provides the guidance to help you make an impact in your chosen field. You may transfer up to 67 credits from a two-year institution and complete the B.A. in Social Work in two years.

Our B.A. in Social Work curriculum is focused on social justice, strengths, and solutions. Students have the opportunity to personalize their educational journey through a series of upper-level electives designed to create depth of learning specific to the student’s area of interest. You also have the opportunity to complete an undergraduate certificate in Diversity and Inclusivity Awareness to gain an enriching, multidisciplinary academic experience through exposure to a variety of cultures and lived experiences.
